Dear Vera and Josiah,

A whole year. It's strange how something can feel like it happened just yesterday and, at the same time, like it's always been this way. Watching you two build a life together has been one of my favourite things.

Vera, seeing you happy and loved well means more to me than I can properly put into words. Josiah, thank you for being the kind of partner who makes her face light up the way it does. I couldn't have wished for anyone better for her.

I know marriage isn't only the big, beautiful moments. It's the dishes, the late nights, the small compromises and the choosing each other again on ordinary days. I don't know everything about your life together, and no one does, but I know you two are good together. It shows.
